Harrisburg Magazine is launching a new regular feature, “Welcome To My ‘Hood,” to help readers become more connected by profiling different neighborhoods in our coverage area between Mechanicsburg and Hershey. Some neighborhoods are primarily residential, but all have special features that we would like to highlight, like walking trails, lakes and ponds, bike lanes, playgrounds and parks, grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and distinctive architectural styles.
We’re asking readers to nominate neighborhoods they would like to see profiled each month. We will start the new feature in May with our neighborhood of the northernmost part of uptown Harrisburg/Susquehanna Township. Where should we go next?
