Still hidden, but creating spirits in Hershey

Coty Edwards, lead distiller for Hidden Still Spirits, stands in the new Hershey facility.

Renovations are about to begin on a restaurant/bar/tasting room for Hidden Still Spirits, right next to the distillery that began operations in Hershey in late 2020. Started in Lebanon in 2014, Hidden Still has become the biggest producer of Pennsylvania craft straight bourbon whiskey.

Customers don’t have to wait for the restaurant to open to get their spirits. Bottle sales are available curbside Mondays-Fridays from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Additionally, a food truck offers pub fare and tastings (and bottle pickup) Thursdays and Fridays between 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Outside dining is offered in a courtyard.

The 505 West Chocolate Ave. (Rear) establishment in downtown Hershey also produces a variety of bourbons, rye whiskey, whiskey, rums, moonshine, vodka, agave spirit, and gins. Their spirits are also featured at many local restaurants and bars.
