Panache Salon Woman of Business

Cynthia Correll Owner, Panache Salon

Cynthia Correll is a veteran salon owner, with nearly three decades in the industry under her belt. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t new goals and challenges for this beauty entrepreneur. Just a few months ago she merged her Panache West salon in Lemoyne with Papillon, a skin transformation center she recently acquired, to form Papillon Salon & Skin Care Center. She still maintains the original Panache Salon, in Harrisburg, which she’s owned for 15 years.

Cynthia describes her salons as upscale but with a family feeling. “We are a team and it shows the minute you enter our salons. We have a comfortable, inviting and relaxing atmosphere.” Cynthia’s locations specialize in creative coloring techniques, Lavish Eyelash extensions, artificial and natural nail services and Clinical Botanical skin care. Panache also offers waxing, makeup application and lessons, massage and packages for bridal parties.

She credits The Redevelopment Authority of Cumberland County with helping to make her latest acquisition and merger possible by unanimously approving her for their program. Employing 31 people between her two locations, Cynthia enjoys giving back to the community. She raises money for Beauty for the Breats, a local charitable event started by a friend for breast cancer research.

Citing her hardworking parents as her inspiration and role models for her work ethic, Cynthia enjoys sharing her success with her staff. “The favorite part of my job is helping and watching people succeed,” says Cynthia enthusiastically. “Their success is my success! I wouldn’t be where I am without them.”
