Jason Klock is living the American Dream.
His energy is enthusiastic, boundless and infectious, just like the disc jockey and entertainment services he and his team of professionals at Klock Entertainment provide, and one can’t help but want to join the party.
Knowing he wanted to be a disc jockey since he was in junior high school, Klock had a passion for mixing music for his family and friends.
“I didn’t actually start to formulate the plan until I got into high school, but I knew that I loved the magic of music, and it was somehow going to be my life’s ambition.”
Ambitious is an adjective well suited for Klock.
A native of the Midstate, Klock graduated from Central Dauphin East High School/Dauphin County Technical School and attended HACC.
Klock set out to make his passion of mixing music his profession, working full-time in outside sales positions for CoolerSmart for two years and then ADP Payroll during the summer of 2011.
Klock woke at 5 a.m. to start building his business and continued late into the evenings once he had put in a full day at the office.
“I really enjoyed my day jobs. I loved the people, along with what I was doing, but I knew I wanted this more. I just put the plan into action, and it grew from there. One of the grooms we did some work for gave me the best advice. He said, ‘Do both jobs as long as you possibly can, and then you’ll have to make a choice.’ There’s no magic formula, it’s really all about having the drive and perseverance to make it happen, and how badly you want it.”
And happen it did.

Klock Entertainment opened its doors in 2004, providing disc jockey and entertainment services for weddings, social and corporate events. The business grew from a single, one-person operation to a staff of 25, with 10 headlining emcees and 15 event assistants.
“We searched for the best people who could turn an event from good to spectacular,” Klock says.
Klock Entertainment provides superior entertainment services that include everything from disc-jockey services, lighting and design, to photo booths and eye-popping décor.
Klock and his staff are based in Harrisburg, but provide services for the surrounding areas.
As modest as he is driven, Klock is quick to credit his staff for helping the dream become a reality.
“I couldn’t do any of this without my team. We are truly a family here. They say you’re only as good as the people who work for you, and that is definitely true.”
Klock Entertainment currently has over 250 wedding receptions booked for the upcoming year, along with a multitude of other social and corporate events.
