Long-time participants in Simply the Best may notice that the ballot has a new look to it. Instead of having over a dozen categories listed on a single page, each category has it’s own dedicated page. This will ensure that people understand which category they are nominating or voting in and avoid endless scrolling to find your category. And it provides you with three different ways to navigate the ballot.
Navigation Buttons
Navigational buttons are located in two spots: To the left and right of the category name and underneath the nomination entry box. They are labeled “Previous” and “Next”. A second set is located underneath the nomination entry box. These green boxes will have the name of next/previous category.
Navigation Menu
You can go directly to a specific category by using the navigational menu. You can access this on a computer by clicking on the three lines on the left hand side of the ballot (known as a hamburger). When you click it, it will expand and you can select the category you want. Please note: If you select a new group it will navigate to the first category in the group. If you click the > next to the Group name, it will expand and you can select a specific category.
On a mobile device, you can access the navigation menu by clicking on the V located next to the Group name. Notice it next to the word “Automobile” in the image on the right. Once you click it, it will expand down and you can scroll to the category you want. Please note: If you select a new group it will navigate to the first category in the group. If you click the > next to the Group name, it will expand and you can select a specific category in that Group.
Ballot Banners
You can click on any of the banners to navigate to the category it is promoting. Banners are located below the Group names and Category names.
