There are a lot of “firsts” this time of year. First new buds and flowers in our gardens. First outdoor sporting events and picnics. And, for our team here at Harrisburg Magazine, the first time we entered – and first awards we’ve won! – courtesy of the PNA!
Yes, Harrisburg Magazine only joined the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association a year ago, and now here we are winners of nine – count ‘em! – nine total awards, six of them via the 2022 PNA Foundation Advertising Contest, and the other three from the Keystone Media Awards. We are super psyched and, though humbled, eager to “bang our own drum” a little.
A huge thanks to all our peers for recognizing our hard work, especially to the working journalists in Virginia who had to wade through more than 2,500 entries from 110 news organizations. Please know that we definitely are NOT going to rest on our laurels and will be working more diligently than ever to provide Central PA with even more award-winning coverage of local arts & culture in the coming year!
Without further ado, below is a list of all our winners, with links so that you can actually see some of our team’s “Simply the Best” work of 2021.
