“Revealing the Face of War: Confederates’ Experiences at the Battle of Gettysburg.” Following the discussion, Dr. Broomall  will be signing his new book entitled “Private Confederacies” – The Emotional Worlds of Southern Men as Citizens and Soldiers, available for purchase in our Gift Shop.

About the Author: Dr. James J. Broomall, PhD is the Director of the George Tyler Moore Center for the Study of the Civil War and the Assistant Professor of History at Shepherd University located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

This presentation is free to the public. Regular museum admission applies for entrance to the museum galleries.
