Creative Elegance Boutique Founder and Owner Announces Retirement After 32 Years

Kathy Cadieux started the business with ‘$100 and a handful of dried flowers’

CAMP HILL (Jan. 15, 2017) – After more than three decades in the women’s clothing business, Kathy Cadieux, founder and owner of Creative Elegance Boutique in Camp Hill, Pa., has announced her retirement. The boutique shop is widely known throughout Central Pennsylvania.

Cadieux began designing her own jewelry and clothing lines in mid-1980s. The idea began as a hobby in her basement, but soon turned into her career.

“I started with just $100 in my purse and a handful of dried flowers,” Cadieux said. “I’ve had a great run. It is time now to pass the torch to someone who is as passionate as me. It is time to spend more time with my children and four grandbabies.”

Cadieux says the greatest joy of her career has been the women who became her extended family.

“The best part, hands down, has been the circle of family I developed,” Cadieux said. “I always had the best employees, the best customers. I have met so many women – it is a massive family that I am so lucky to have been a part of. I love, love, love the connections that were made and the stories we have shared. I have been blessed.”

Beginning Jan. 12 and running through the end of March, Creative Elegance Boutique is holding a special 40 percent off the entire store retirement sale.

“I value my customers’ loyalty through the years,” Cadieux said. “I am so grateful.”

Creative Elegance Boutique is located at the former Landis Jeweler’s building at 2129 Market Street in Camp Hill, open Monday through Saturday 11am to 4pm.
